The Osaka Project aims to explore future directions
of new city culture by comparing the histories of city cultures. We
will work on subjects such as social relationships, spatial structure,
city cultures, and the network between cities by examining Japanese
cities and western/Asian cities. Faculty members have had many academic
forum discussions; COE faculty staff have made presentations of their
academic achievements. We also carry out the data collection of ancient
documents and academic-document database creation
